In the 2008 year, the 500 powerful Chinese brand of the world has come out. Reporters learned from the Quanzhou famous brand research association and Shishi business community that the "500 list of China's power brands affecting the world", which was jointly elected by the world famous brand conference and the world brand organization, the US China economic and trade investment general association, and the world city TV world enterprise research center, was released to the whole world. Quanzhou's 10 brands were listed on the list, and lions and birds were ranked among them.

In the 2008 year, the selection of the top 500 Chinese brands in the world aimed at "enhancing the popularity and reputation of Chinese brands, enhancing the sales force and brand influence, implementing the strategic planning of brand internationalization, moving towards the world and affecting the world". The 18 indicators of eight aspects, such as brand awareness, credit and innovation, were used to evaluate more than 3000 enterprises in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Mainland China. Finally, 68 brands were selected for the 500 brands.
