Quality Supervision Bureau For Garment Products Spot Checks 23 Kinds Of Unqualified
The Quality Supervision Bureau of Chongqing has conducted spot checks on clothing products in the main garment production enterprises in the main city, and nearly half of them have quality problems. 23 of them will be harmful to human health and can not be bought. The Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau said it would immediately punish unqualified enterprises.
According to introducing, this is mainly for 48 Enterprises in the main city area, carried out a raid spot check. Of the 58 batches of garments tested, only 31 batches were qualified, and the pass rate was 53.45%.
The test is mainly for children's clothing, student dress, dress, skirt sets and jackets and other clothing series of formaldehyde, pH value, color fastness and other safety technical indicators and fiber content, identification and so on were tested.
From the spot checks, formaldehyde content indicators are all qualified, the main unqualified items are pH value, composition content, logo and color fastness. Embodied in the 12 batches of clothing products measured ingredients content is inconsistent with the express, some manufacturers use people's preference for natural fibers, in the content logo intentionally high false natural fiber content, deceiving and misleading consumers.
The pH values of the 8 batches of products exceeded the standard. The pH value of clothing products is conducive to the protection of the human body between the slight acid and neutral. The pH value of the product exceeds the standard, which causes strong stimulation to the skin and even endangers the health of the human body, which may cause skin diseases.
Another 2 batches of products were resistant to perspiration and color fastness, and 1 batches of products were resistant to excessive rubbing fastness. Color fastness refers to the degree of firmness of dyestuffs in dyed textiles under certain conditions. When the color fastness is low, the dye easily falls off the clothing and attaches to the skin of the human body, which is harmful to the human body. There are 4 batches of product labels that do not meet the requirements of the national mandatory standards.
At present, the Bureau will punish the unqualified enterprises and urge them to rectify and review them.
