Dior Homme came to China for the first time. The venue was selected by the Beijing Central Academy of fine arts, designed by Japanese designer Arata Isozaki.

The second time was designed by the Chinese designer Liu Yichun, the Shanghai dragon Museum.

This time in Guangzhou, the grand show venue was designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadi (Zaha Hadid), the Guangzhou Grand Theater.

Chris Van Nash, the current design director of Dior Homme, said: "I like all kinds of great buildings, and I often get some ideas from them.

For example, The Paris Opera House is one of my inspirations.

This sounding, gentle and elegant Belgian man is not exactly like his predecessor, Eddie Slimane, who has a high profile and rebellious light.

He was wearing a black suit and dark blue shirt, embroidered with Mr. Dior's hand-painted typeface (Dior Homme one of this summer's Series), loose jeans, white sports shoes and black socks.

The meticulous and perfect dress is just like his answer to my question, steady and watertight.

Chris's resume is not rich, he chose a low-key, but also patience.

He was born in a small town in Belgium, and his parents were kind and conservative.

"They are the most common people in the world.

Their important rule in life is not to be conspicuous, but to be an ordinary person.

It's strange. It's really not for me. "

Chris said.

In 1998, he graduated from Royal College of Art in Antwerp. She was born in Antwerp, including Ann Demurumest (Ann Demeulemeester), Doris Van Norden (Dries Van Noten) and Martin Margiela (Martin Margiela), including "Six Gentlemen in the city".

Dior Ralph Simon, the creative director of current women's clothing, also graduated from Raf Simons.

After graduation, Chris was led into the fashion circle by Eddie Slimane.

For the next six years, he followed Addie as his assistant.

In 2005, Chris chose to leave Dior Homme and established the same name brand "Kris Van Assche".

In 2007,

Chris

Took over Addie's position in Dior Homme.

Before, Addie has brought the brand to a peak.

People can't wait to see what Chris will do for the super narrow pants and the fine tailored Dior.

Men's wear

What new features have been brought about.

"There are pressures and changes."

Looking back at the design of Dior Homme for eight years, Chris said, "the pressure at the beginning is biased towards the negative. People may have some doubts about my design, which also leads me to question myself."

Indeed, when the loose and elegant wide leg trousers replaced the tight pants that were put on the altar, the first reaction of the crowd was confusion.

However, Chris persisted in his own way every season.

The autumn and winter series in 2010 is the battle of his turning around. In this series of black and white series, Chris used the relatively heavy materials such as cashmere, flannel and lamb skin to create a brand new Dior Homme image with rigorous tailoring combined with the large size profile.

"When I was creating this series, I told the design team the first sentence was:" I want a coat that is big enough to wrap the wearer. "

Chris recalls.

This series made him feel for the first time a balance between his desired style and brand image.

After Chris took over.

Dior Homme

After looking through it, you will find that his road to reform is gradual and gradual.

In the spring and summer series in 2012, the Less and More, which was dominated by white, made the minimalism of 1990s regain again.

In the autumn and winter of 2012 and the spring and summer of 2013, he used military uniform as the design subject.

Then, in autumn and winter of 2013 and spring and summer of 2014, he chose the geometric pattern.

Of course, it never changes. Chris always revolves around the core of Dior Homme: exquisite craftsmanship and fine fabrics.

"Superb tailoring will not change.

I will put these in a modern environment - introduce my favorite sports elements.

This is the foundation and foundation of my design. "

He added: "I have always thought that this dress and clothing will be more comfortable."

The initial negative pressure has already begun to turn into positive pressure.

"I am more ambitious now."

Chris said with a smile.
