The eighty-ninth world textile conference hosted by Wuhan Textile University was held in Wuhan.
Helen, chairman of the British textile society, vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, vice governor Guo Shenglian, and more than 300 experts and scholars from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Britain and Germany, attended the opening ceremony of the conference.
At the opening ceremony, Guo Shenglian delivered a welcome speech on behalf of our province. He pointed out that the world textile Congress is a platform for face-to-face exchanges between experts and scholars in the textile field and the elites of the enterprise. It plays a positive role in promoting the latest technology research in textile industry and the innovation of textile industry products.
With the undertaking and pformation and upgrading of the textile industry, China's textile industry is facing new opportunities and challenges. It is a long way to go to achieve the four strategic objectives of textile technology power, textile brand power, textile sustainable development power and textile talents.
Hubei will take this opportunity to strengthen the R & D and product development, strengthen the training of talents in the industry, strengthen international exchanges and innovation, and promote the sustained, rapid and healthy development of the textile industry.
