Bayer Is Concerned About The Demand For Information And Materials In The Sichuan Earthquake Stricken Area.
Koenig, President of the Greater China region of Bayer Group, said: "the earthquake has brought incalculable losses to the people in the disaster area. As a responsible society, we are in the hearts of the people in the disaster area, hoping to support the people in the disaster area by donating urgently needed medical supplies and funds."
After the donation of 5 million yuan of medical supplies in May 14th and May 19th, Bayer added an additional 5 million yuan of antibiotic drugs to help the victims of the earthquake.
So far, Bayer has continued to donate 10 million yuan of medical supplies to the earthquake stricken area.
At the same time, the company has donated an equal amount of cash to encourage employees in mainland China and Hongkong to contribute to earthquake relief.
Bayer employees have contributed 1 million 400 thousand yuan, which means that the cash contributions from Bayer and its employees will exceed 2 million 800 thousand yuan.
