2011 The Return To School Consumption In The US Is Reduced By About 1%.

Consumers do not buy clothing at a higher price. The economy is slowing down and consumers are buying electronic products.

The NRF announced that the average family plan to spend 12 dollars on clothing and supplies was $604, compared with $606 in the same period last year.

Michael Niemira, chief economist at the ICSC, said that because of the fact that discount merchandise attracted consumers, sales of many US retailers exceeded analysts' expectations in June, but stores will receive higher returns for returning products.
