Online Shopping Feel The Feel Of Clothes

People always uphold the concept of shopping supremacy. Online shopping is extremely convenient for them, but it can not replace physical store shopping, because you can not feel the touch of silk clothing in your hands, and you can not try it on the spot.

But this situation will soon be broken, consumers can feel the feel of the clothes online while watching the pictures, and can also share feelings online.

This network service can even help fashion designers to design more popular clothing according to customer feedback.

"We are currently exploring several ways that can represent different.

Texture of material

The dynamic expression of fabrics, "said SHARONBAURLEY, a project leader with digital sense masters.

BAURLEY and his team are currently developing APPS applications for IPHONE phones, IPAD and other tablet computers, because the touchscreens that use these electronic products can be more realistic in showing fabric quality.

Touch

These interactive fabrics can be called SHOOGLES. The production process is similar to stop motion animation, which enables users to get dynamic visual experience. Although our fingertips can not get the same touch, customers can stretch, rub or knead these materials on electronic devices, just like shopping on the spot.

At the same time, customers can upload their own designs.

BAURLEY's team is also investigating the physiological responses of people to touch real fabrics.

Members of the research team said: "to understand this, you may need a biosensor similar to EEGCAP, which can capture human neural response signals, but in the future, various forms of biosensing devices will be incorporated into smart phones."

Biosensors will be able to capture people's responses more accurately than a simple button.

"People usually don't care about their emotions and feelings," explains NADIABIANCHI-BERTHOUZE from University of London. She is also a member of the digital tactile project team.

This project will greatly benefit retailers.

"The major retailers are showing great interest in this. They hope to develop new methods and tools to draw the distance from customers and understand their true feelings about products," BAURLEY said.

She recently launched a project collaboration with Marsha general store in England to help them understand the customer's idea of product design.

Designers upload them.

Design

Sketches, customers express their preferences by uploading pictures and fabrics, which will form a complete design.

"People want to add voice, and digital tools can do that," BAURLEY said.
