As early as October 15, 2010, Rizhao Port issued a notice on the controlling shareholder's asset injection plan, saying that the company's own berths could not meet the port's production and operation needs. A small amount of scattered goods had to be pferred from the Arashiyama Port Liability Company, the controlling shareholder of Rizhao Port Group Co., to No. 4 (timber berth) and No. 9 (grain special berth) in the port area of Arashiyama.

In order to meet the planning requirements, Rizhao Port Group has decided to strive to inject 4#, 9# berths and related assets in Arashiyama port area into the company in a reasonable manner in the first half of 2011, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the SFC.


Insiders said that at present, Rizhao Port still has fine assets such as grain, wood chips, and wheel barge, so as to avoid the same trade.

Listed companies may come up with two options.

The first one is to purchase only 4 and 9 berths of Arashiyama, but change them to the ore business, and large shareholders will be able to lease the berths of the listed companies if they need to discharge grain and timber.

The second is to buy all the berths of Arashiyama and the two port area of Shi Jiu.

However, no matter which plan will increase the performance of listed companies will not be big.

At present, the total throughput of timber and grain goods is only about 10% of that of listed companies.

Considering that only 38% of the major shareholders in the listed companies share the shares, in order to raise the controlling power of the large shareholders, it is estimated that the listed companies will issue private placements, while the larger shareholders will have more possibility to subscribe to the wharf assets.

There are 1 100 thousand ton and 1 300 thousand ton crude oil terminals, which are not profitable.

But the group is building another two 300 thousand ton terminals, which is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2012.

Market participants believe that when the 4 terminals are put into operation, the possibility of one-time injection into the listed companies will be great.

It is also possible for the remaining operating assets, including container terminals and foreign ship tally, to be packaged once again.

It is estimated that 2013 will be the fastest injection time, and if it can be injected, it will contribute more than 300 million yuan profit.
