Textile Industry Into Zhejiang To Eliminate Backward Production Capacity Plan

According to the joint request issued by the ministries and commissions of the Ministry of industry, the national development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of environmental protection 18 years ago, the elimination of backward production capacity in Zhejiang last year involved steelmaking and cement grinding.

Before the end of December this year, all the backward production capacity of Zhejiang's regional phase out plan was demolished, and the main equipment and production lines were dismantled, so that the production could not be resumed. The 18 ministries and commissions were inspected before the end of March.

"Those production capacity, products and technology that do not conform to industrial policies, high energy consumption, heavy pollution and no guarantee of safe production will be phased out."

According to industry analysis, small smelting in Fuyang, Yongkang and other places, small chemicals in Taizhou, Quzhou and Shangyu, and some backward equipment in the textile industry can not escape the storm.

In the survey, the relevant departments of Zhejiang Province found that in some places last year, the phenomenon of "backward production capacity that has been eliminated in the region" was reported as an annual plan.

In this regard, Zhejiang province banned such acts this year. It is also regarded as concealed and false reports about the number of reported backward production capacity and the backward production capacity that should not be eliminated.

Accountability shall be imposed on those areas where the above behaviors are carried out and are urged to be put in place in accordance with the law.
