Reported that WTO's attitude towards footwear, glazed tiles and other products have potential impact, which can be said to be a significant victory in China.

The report pointed out that the case involved screws and bolts imported from China, which were faced with a 85% additional tariff when entering the European Union, on the grounds that the European Union thought they were dumping in Europe at below market prices.

But WTO, the global trade watchdog group, ruled that additional tariffs should not apply to all Chinese exporters.

The WTO panel's position is not to reject anti-dumping duties on bolts or any other product categories.

However, it seeks to ensure that such tariffs are specific to specific companies, not to all potential exporters.

The highest tax rate is 16.5%.

Because the case has caused great divergence within the EU, the EU Member States will eventually reduce their anti-dumping duty to 2 years from the usual 5 years.

During the review period, the original anti-dumping measures are still applicable.
