In August 6th, T.I.T creative garden, a large cultural and Creative Industry Park in Guangzhou, was officially opened under the "small waist" of the Pearl River. However, in the face of the transformation of traditional manufacturing industry, the bottleneck of the development of cultural and creative industries and the embarrassing situation of government support, investors, practitioners and cultural people who are active in the forefront of Guangdong's cultural and creative industries have talked freely about their likes, thoughts, demands and worries.

With the implementation of opinions on speeding up the promotion of cultural soft power and the introduction of heavyweight policies such as the Guangdong provincial plan for building a strong cultural province (2011 to 2020), the development of Guangdong's cultural industry is booming. According to statistics, there are more than 30 cultural industrial parks in Guangzhou and 100 in the Pearl River Delta region. Guangdong will invest 25 billion yuan in the next 5 years to promote the construction of a strong cultural province.

"If a textile and garment enterprise, as a traditional manufacturing industry, the development space in Guangzhou has been very limited. If our industry does not upgrade or transform, it will fall into a situation where there is no way to go." Li Zhixin, chairman of Guangzhou textile industry and trade group, said frankly that the transformation of economic growth mode is more painful. It is a painful way to start from industrial manufacturing, R & D, and gradually to brand, fashion and creative service industries. This is a road we must take.

The government needs to put money in the right place.

Li Zhixin said that Guangdong's high standard and generous construction of a strong cultural province is obvious to the benefits of Guangdong's cultural and creative industries. However, he is also worried, "how big the role is, we must look at the landing. We must not spread the funds out of the way and do the low-end things." He suggested that the key to the government is to put money in the right place.

People often say that Guangdong is a cultural desert. Many people who engage in cultural and creative industries think it is one-sided. The government has invested so much money to support the cultural and creative industries. Liu Yang, a famous fashion designer in China, hopes that the government can support designers and learn from abroad at home. Fashion is originally a transboundary thing, and can not be closed behind the doors in the country. It can not be a master, nor can it become a plagiarism. Not only that, he thinks that the government should help more designers to start their own businesses, so that designers can realize their dreams. There is a great difference between the inclination of policies and the support of funds, so that these people can continue to grow.

Chen Huihua, manager of Guangzhou R & D center of PEAK group, believes that "the government spends money on the industrial park, just giving it a place. What we need is how to promote this culture and do more public promotion." Chen Huihua made a suggestion that the government should organize free exhibitions, free performances and large gatherings.
