Expressed the hope that the recent suspension of the technology renewal Fund Scheme (TUFS) would be extended to the end of the twelfth plan.

J. Thulasidharan, chairman of the South India textile mill Association, said the plan should continue and do not modify until the end of the eleventh plan and then extend to the next plan.

According to the technical pformation fund plan, the textile industry has received 80 billion rupees aid funds in the past three years, and can get another 90 billion rupees in the remaining eleventh projects.

The original design of the plan ended in 1999, because only in 2005 did the momentum grow. Now, nearly 90% of the textile sector investment is under this plan.

The textile sector is the largest department of job creation in India.

TUFS encourages investment and, therefore, creates more job opportunities.

China currently has about 100 million spindles, while India has only 42 million spindles.

India exports about 7 million bags.

cotton

These cotton can be digested in the domestic market by expanding production capacity.

Therefore, the preferential measures under this plan should continue.

According to this plan, Rupp's clothing department needs to purchase more machines. Therefore, the assistance funds for processing and clothing departments should be increased under the framework of the plan.

According to power

loom

The development and Export Promotion Council report has so far accumulated a total of nearly 740 billion rupees and only 1.5% of the small power looms.

India has only 10.3 shuttleless looms and about 2 million 250 thousand power looms.

Therefore, investment in the power loom sector should be encouraged.

The investment proportion of the project initiator should be reduced from 15% to 10%.

Interest subsidies should be raised to 8%, and the capital ceiling should be increased from the current 20 million rupees to 50 million rupees.
