Shoe Leather

Germany amended the commodity law on 11 th, limiting the manufacture of leather through tanning processing by chrome tanning, and stipulates leather products that are in contact with human body, including leather bags, knapsacks, textiles, watchbands, shoes and toys. No six valent chromium can be detected in its final products.

The inspection and quarantine department reminds the relevant enterprises to pay close attention to the decree, and thoroughly understand and interpret the implementation time, content and scope of the act, and formulate corresponding countermeasures according to the situation of the enterprise itself.

It is understood that the majority of leather enterprises in China use chrome tanning this way of processing, so that leather products have good strength, handle and heat and humidity stability.

From the perspective of long-term development of enterprises, we should increase investment in science and technology, actively improve production processes and production methods. In addition, while consolidating the traditional markets such as the European Union and the United States, we should actively seek new trading partners.
