The Spectre A/S of Denmark and the Minh Tri limited in Vietnam have decided that the two companies will establish a joint venture in Taiping province.

Taiping is one of Vietnam's most famous clothing producing areas and has a large number of young labor force.

The phantom and Minh Tri have named their new joint venture, namely, Spectre Vietnam.

Two sewing lines and an automatic clipper have been equipped. The factory has received customer orders from Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Italy, the United States and the United Kingdom.


Europe's professional outdoor sportswear include woolen coats, soft shell jackets, technical underwear and T- shirts.

The phantom A/S company was founded in 1947, and has 500 workers in Denmark and Latvia.

Now phantom A/S is working with Vietnam's MinhTri company to expand its business in Vietnam.


On the other hand, Minh Tri was founded in 1995, with only 50 employees and diversified businesses. In 2001, it established second factories, employing 800 workers, and third factories in 2005, with 2400 employees.

The joint venture will probably create 200 new jobs by 2013, of which 75% will be provided to women in Taiping province.
