In less than 10 years, seamless garments have formed a complete industrial cluster in Yiwu. From the single body seamless underwear to the diversified development pattern of seamless fashion, seamless sportswear and seamless home furnishing apparel, seamless underwear has been developed.

As of the end of December last year, there were more than 100 seamless weaving enterprises in Yiwu, about 6000 imported seamless looms, accounting for about 80% of the country's total, accounting for about 25% of the world's total annual output, about 110000000 sets of seamless underwear, 450 million short pants and 7 billion 500 million yuan output value. The products were exported to more than 30 countries and regions such as the United States, Germany, Japan and the European Union, and have the title of "seamless knitted garment city of China".

Yiwu has 6 high-tech enterprises in seamless knitting industry and raw materials industry, including 5 state-level, 1 provincial-level, two R & D centers at the provincial level, and 6 Torch projects in 2005~2008 years, including 1 key national products, 4 textile products at the provincial level, and over 100 patents of various types; 1 Chinese brand names, 3 famous brand names, and 9 famous brand names in cities; 3 famous trademarks in China, 3 famous trademarks at provincial level, and one famous trademark in the city.

Break through the bottleneck of development

To this end, the Yiwu municipal Party committee, the municipal government and the Industrial Park Management Committee and the Suxi town Party committee government have acted early on the construction of China seamless garment science and Technology Industrial Park.

In 2008, the Yiwu Industrial Park Management Committee and Suxi town Party committee government put forward a plan to build a "global seamless underwear manufacturing and manufacturing base", and made a report to the Yiwu municipal government and the provincial government.

The provincial government attaches great importance to this plan, and agrees in principle to establish a seamless garment production base in the park, and has approved the land quota of 1000 mu.

According to the development plan of China seamless garment science and Technology Industrial Park, in May last year, the Yiwu Industrial Park Management Committee set up a leading group of "China seamless garment science and Technology Industrial Park", and formulated and promulgated the policy and measures to build "China seamless garment science and Technology Industrial Park".

In the course of implementing the plan, the park management committee joined hands with the seamless weaving industry association of Yiwu to discuss the bottlenecks in seamless weaving industry, and worked out a set of construction plans that conform to the actual development of Yiwu seamless weaving industry, and strive to establish an industrial chain from raw materials, accessories to matching services.

In the construction of the industrial chain, Yiwu has introduced raw material production enterprises, garment production enterprises, post processing centers and packaging production enterprises on the seamless apparel weaving industry chain, focusing on the construction of seamless garment research and development - seamless garment equipment and spare parts manufacturing - raw materials such as yarn and silk production seamless garment weaving seamless garment finishing processing seamless clothing sales platform.

In addition, Yiwu will speed up the construction of public technology service platform and Talent Exchange Center for seamless garment industry.

In the establishment of public technology service platform, Yiwu will focus on the establishment of technology innovation fund and technology service platform, and promote enterprise's products, expand the technical exchanges among enterprises, and gradually let Yiwu become the world's leading concentration of seamless clothing information, technology and products.

At the same time, Yiwu has also put forward the strategy of "people-oriented" talent Park, with science and technology and talents as the precursor, and strive to cultivate a highly educated and high-quality professional team of modern scientific research, production, sales and management.

Yiwu seamless weaving industry association also plans to set up training centers, responsible for formulating training plans, organizing technical training for park personnel, contacting experts and scholars to give lectures in the park, and directly training technicians needed by enterprises.

At the same time, the industrial park will also set up a business headquarters building, set up seamless clothing vocational and technical schools and testing centers and other corresponding supporting measures.

It is understood that the planning area of China seamless garment science and Technology Industrial Park is 5 square kilometers, and the planning period is 2010~2014 years. In 2014, the total industrial output value of science and Technology Industrial Park is 50 billion yuan. The annual output value exceeds 10 billion yuan for enterprises, 1 enterprises, 5 billion yuan enterprises, 3 enterprises, the annual output value exceeds 1 billion yuan, 10 enterprises, and more than one billion yuan enterprises are 50.
