Puppet Handmade Invention: Practical Low Voltage Electric Iron

This summer, Ningbo for two consecutive months "power shortage", the sluice has brought inconvenience to the use of electric soldering iron.

So I made a low-voltage electric iron with auto battery as the energy source, and the result was satisfactory. The production process is introduced to everyone.

Make Material Science 220V/20W: one internal heat electric iron, one scrap 220V/500W electric iron core, one battery with 12V and 20AH batteries.

Production methods:

1. will 20W Inner core Remove from the iron. It can be seen from the picture that the inner core is composed of two ceramic tubes and electric wires with different thickness. The outer diameter of the fine porcelain tube is 2mm, which is surrounded by electric wires. The starting end of the heating wire is connected with a metal wire and is drawn from the tube hole. The terminal is also connected with the metal wire after being connected with the metal wire, and is fixed on the fine porcelain tube body, while the rough porcelain tube with an inner diameter of 3mm is sleeved on the fine porcelain tube wound with electric heating wires (Fig. 1).

2. carefully remove the fine porcelain tube and soak it in alcohol for half an hour. Remove all electric heating wires.

3. remove the inner core of the electric iron. Electric heating wire The total length of the 1/14 is cut. The resistance measured by multimeter is about 7 ohm (the resistance of the inner core of the 220V/500W electric iron is about 97 ohms). The heating wire is neatly wound around the fine porcelain tube, and the initial and the terminal are drawn out in the same way. Then, the coarse porcelain tube is sleeved and installed in the original electric iron body. At this point, a low-voltage electric iron is completed (Fig. two). (R=U2/P)

The power PU2/R= (12V) 2/7 ohm 20W of the electric iron can be used to eat tin in less than 5 minutes. It is very practical.
