In order to meet the needs of mankind, especially the demand for industrial textiles, China's textile industry must rely on the development of chemical fibers. Chemical fibers will be an important part of supporting the new economic growth point of the textile industry.

Gao Yong said that in the past two years, the textile industry has shifted from east to west, and the proportion of textile industry in the central and western regions has been rapidly improved. In 2011, the proportion of textile industry above Designated Size reached 19.7% in the central and western regions.
